Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) serves  as  a  water  absorbing polymer, based on Sodium Polyacrylate, that  manifests the capacity of absorbing up to 500 - 600 times of DM water of its own weight. The ability of sodium polyacrylate to absorb water is derived by the ionic concentraon of the aqueous solution. Sodium Polyacrylate carries posive anionic charge, which attracts water-based molecules to combine with it, making a super absorbent polymer.
